Incorporating Dope into your Wardrobe

Heyyyyy y’all!
I know what y’all are thinking..she is a crackhead LOL WRONG! Im not sure if you guys heard of the movie DOPE, but I stumbled upon it on Netflix and I truly fell in love with the flick and brought me straight back to my childhood. I was getting my jam on with the Busta Rhymes song feature and loving the throwback fashion sense of the main characters. And the eye candy didn’t hurt much either lol (Quincy Brown, Diddy’s son fine self and ASAP Rocky looked pretty cute too).

I don’t know about y’all, but there is nothing better than the 90s. From the music to the television shows and most importantly, the clothes! The 90s were when sexy wasn’t showing all your goods, dressing like a cute tomboy and still acting like a lady, not to mention being able to sing along to the words in a song because you actually understand what they are saying! Bright colors and funky accessories..I am totally here for it and ready for the 90s come back. Check out some ways to wear 90s looks without looking outdated!

What to Wear to a Wedding!

Heyy Yall!

It is definitely that time of the year when love rains supreme in all things white, sparkly and
Yes, I am talking about that special day when a beautiful couple unites in eternal love and we all know that such a memorable day can be ruined by the ignorance of a terribly dressed guest.
Today, we’ll talk about how to look your best as a guest at a wedding without showing up or embarrassing the bride..or yourself.
• I definitely don’t think it’s a good ideas to wear white to a wedding unless it’s requested by the bride as part of the wedding theme.
• Also, I know coincidences happen, but don’t try to coordinate your often to the bridal party colors. If the bride wanted that, she’d include you in the wedding.
• Ultimately, when choosing a wedding outfit, DON’T OUTSHINE THE BRIDE!

Check out some ideas for those who prefer to wear a dress, skirt or pants to the special event; because nobody wants to be “THAT” girl.

Necessary Accessories | Handbag Styles you should Own

Hey Y’all!
I hope you all are FABULOUS! Let’s talk HANDBAGS!

The perfect pair to a fabulous outfit is a great handbag! Sometimes it can make or break an outfit if you choose the wrong handbag pieces. Every woman needs the following key styles in their closet to maintain class and versatile. Those styles include a Clutch, Wristlet, Cross body, Hobo, Satchel and the Tote bag. Check out some of my favorite styles this season and how they can work for you!

Clutches and Wristlets are great for a night out or for those who really don’t like to eat a handbags. The clutch gives you a chic look and the wristlet won’t make you worry about putting it down while you’re out because it can just hang on your wrist! Both perfect for your essential needs, (I.e. Cards, cash, phone and most importantly, lipgloss!  And if you plan for happy hour  after work, a clutch or Wristlet can easily be tossed in your daily bag until you’re ready to go!

Cross body styles are great to have because they help you to be hands free. I love the ones that have the card slots inside the wall of the bag so you don’t have to find a small wallet. I tend to go to cross body bags when Lupus is causing me to have a flare up where the joints in my hands are swollen and hurt. Not to mention, these are definitely coachella worthy!

Hobo style bags usually have one should strap and slouch under the arm. This style bag give you a easy, carefree look.

Satchels have got to be my go to handbag style! I love the sassy look it gives you when wearing it handheld or on the forearm. Most times, you’ll find that a satchel comes with a shoulder strap for those times you need to be hands free!

Lastly, the tote bag is an important piece to any handbag collection. Great for everyday use and perfect for travel. If you go for a nylon tote, you can keep it stored in your leather bag and when the weather isn’t so great, (rain or snow), you can put your leather bag inside of the tote to keep it from getting ruined!

What to Wear on a Rainy Day!

“April showers brings May flowers!” I know you all have heard that saying before and the rain has already begun here in the “O” (heard someone call Orlando, FL that earlier this week apparently trying to sound cool lol)

I must admit, in the past, I always ran straight to my sweats or my least favorite pair of denim if I had to go out, but a little bit of rain or torrential downpour is no excuse not to look fabulous!
Some of my favorite pieces to wear on a rainy day are rain boots, cute jackets or blazers, fun hats and cross body bag or a good tote to keep my umbrella in.
Check out some rainy day looks for some inspiration!

Spring Fashion Favorites

Hello Hello girlies!
Spring is almost upon us! I know that from hearing from some of my up north people, y’all got a taste of some of my 80 degree Florida weather.
What better way to celebrate spring than to update your wardrobe with some fab and fun pieces! I mean I never need an excuse to shop but welcoming spring happens to be this week’s excuse lol
I know all the magazines and blogs are talking about what you HAVE to have and MUST be wearing, but today I’m just sharing the pieces I love to wear during the spring and into summer.
Check them out!
Jumpers & Rompers
The easiest outfit in the world! I love it because you literally can feel like crap but still look good because you have one piece to put on lol add some accessories (I.e. Statement necklace, chunky bangle, cocktail ring), and some pumps or sandals and you are POPPIN!

Wedges & Espadrilles
Who doesn’t love good shoe?! Wedges and Espadrilles are the cheating way to rock heels! Cute, sexy and most important of all comfortable! Amazing with a pair of wideleg pants or skinnys. Get you some!!

Beautiful Blouses
I love easy to wear pieces. A great blouse goes great with any bottom without looking like you are trying so hard.

Colored Pants
I love a good bright colored pant! You can wear them to work, on the weekend and out on the town when paired with a sassy top! Great with pumps, flat or a fabulous pair of wedges!

How are you getting spring ready? Get out there and getcho spring on!
