How to be Cute and Warm in the Winter Weather

How to be Cute and Warm in the Winter Weather

Hey y’all!

This post was inspired by a statement I keep seeing on my Instagram timeline:

There is NEVER a good time or reason to not look your best even if it’s cold or you are on your deathbed! If the later is the case, y’all better get me my best wig and my favorite tinted moisturizer OKAY! LOL

Since you can’t stay in the house hibernating all winter, LAYERING is the KEY to keeping warm while you are still being cute in the freezing temps. Sweaters, turtlenecks and thermals are great pieces to use for layering. They are great because you remove a layer or two once you’re inside.

I also love a good hat, scarf and glove set. If they are are all the same color, you can wear them with different duke and color coats.

The right boots will keep you warm and free from falling! Rain boots are great because they have grip on the sole and you can wear a thick sock to keep your toes warm. Knee boots keep your ankles from getting soaked in the knee deep snow banks and uggs are my favorite because they are lined with sherling.

Checkout some ways you can keep it cute in the cold!

Hey y’all!

As the new year is upon us, so is a new Pantone Color for 2018!

The color is Ultra Violet and I am so excited for it because purple is the color that represents Lupus Awareness!

There are so many ways you can add this into your wardrobe without feeling like a Purple People Eater by adding accessories like scarves, hats, and handbags. You can also add clothing pieces like a blazer or jacket, pants, skirt or dress. If none of those options suits your fancy, try a lip color, eye shadow or nail polish!

Check out some ways you can incorporate this amazing color into your wardrobe without breaking the bank!

I love me some layers, so since we got our lives with some fabulous sweaters last week, this week I’m bringing out some amazing coat styles to get you through the season. Everyone needs a great staple coat; My go to staple coat when I was living up north was a Marc Jacob Double Breasted Wool Coat with Gold Buttons in Fuchsia pink. It was my absolute FAVORITE jacket but now it is out of reach because it was lost with the rest of the things I couldn’t get out of my mom’s storage unit.. so someone has a BANGING coat and wardrobe, but I digress. Any who, check out some of my favorite coat style you need to add to your wardrobe.

Sweater Weather | What sweaters you need this Fall

Sweater Weather | What sweaters you need this Fall

Hey Y’all!

🎤 It’s the most, wonderful time of the yearrrrrrrr! 🎤 Lol YAYYYYYY! It finally got chilly enough here in Orlando to break out the sweater goods YASSSSSS! Of course, sweaters aren’t really a trend because you definitely need them for the Fall and Winter seasons, especially if you’re living up north.

Check out some of my favorite sweater pieces of this season and how to rock them!

This sweater  is gorgeous and has the best detailing.  Paired with an amazing leather skirt that can take you from the start of fall through the winter season for sure; I have been stalking this bag for months and is GORGEOUS in Python; perfect with these sunnies. And how DOPE are these booties with the classic oxford look.

Ever since I saw Blake Lively rock this coat, I have not been able to stop thinking about it and how I would rock it, so here ya go! lol Floral prints never really go out of season, so this top is a gorgeous fall/winter statement piece. Sass it up with these amazing suede and sweater booties and fancy accessoriesAnd don’t forget a statement bag, remember luxury bags are an investment that you will have for years to come!

First of all, I love pieces that have multiple ways to wear them and this sweater, has just that because.. IT’S REVERSIBLE YASSSS! LOL. To give it some edge, pair it with a solid color, a leather legging or liquid denim, a great ankle bootie with some subtle detail. Don’t forget your statement bag and your statement necklace!

This little Metallic Turtleneck Sweater is so flirty with those amazing bell sleeves, which are so in for the season! The look feels a bit retro to me paired with some fabulous flare leg denim, an amazing wrap coat that can be worn dressed up or casually and a classic suede pump! Earrings here. Belt here I love it!

This Tie Front Cashmere Sweater seems to be made for a casual day out but let’s be serious.. I had to sass it up again. I love a good moto jacket as you can see here. The fedora definitely gives the sweater some pop and don’t forget the not-so-basic booties, which I love have a little color on it. And, this update on the phantom bag for 2017 is to die for!

What sweater style do you need in your closet? I would love to see!
