Good American Jeans by Khloe Kardashian

Hey y’all! Happy Tuesday! Hope you guys are feeling amazing! No lupus joint pain going on today so I am great!

I am IN LOVE with Khloe Kardashian’s new denim brand GOOD AMERICAN!

She’s looking out for the real bodies..real hips, real thighs, real booties, really bellies and real cellulite lol.

Its focused fashion brand designed for a curvier, sexier and stronger shape.

I also appreciate that it’s made here in the U.S., which helps with jobs and supports charities that empower girls to realize their true potential.
The brand launches today and has 3 far from basic styles.

• Good Cuts-Heritage fit. Hip slimming.

Signature straight leg.

• Good waist- Ultra high-rise. Natural back lift. Corset slimming elasticity

• Good legs- Slim fit. Hip and leg sculpting fabric recovery technology.

Pricing is around $160 – $210
I know that may be a bit steep from some but from experience, when I have spent a good amount for my jeans they usually last a very long time! Especially when washed correctly!

My favorites are the Good Waist Jeans to help suck in this front pudge I got going on lol.

Which Good American are you?

Walk Like This | Fabulous Shoes on Pinterest This Week

Hey yall!

The Chronicles of Lupus and the War on Kidneys has begun again for me. While I am out of the hospital now with much more energy, I am struggling to keep myself upbeat since I haven’t been approved to go back to work :-/ So, what better way to spend my time, than to keep you guys updated on my favorite fashion finds.

I know many of you all are stuck in some yucky snow and prefer to be warm than brave the cold in some sexy footwear so I am sure you will appreciate some shoe love.

Check out some of my favorite lust worthy shoes from Spring 2015 on Pinterest this week.

Vacation Ready | Tory Burch Resort 2015

Hey y’all!

OMG I ALMOST DIED! Okay, maybe that’s a bit extreme, but I was diagnosed with pneumonia! I couldn’t even believe it but I definitely felt horrible. Yesterday was my first day out of bed and back to work and I was super excited to see all the great new styles from the Tory Burch Resort Collection! I know most of you can’t even wrap your mind around warm weather right now judging by all the snowy and icy Facebook posts Ive been seeing on my timeline lol but that doesn’t mean you can’t prepare for when it gets warm!

For those who aren’t familiar with Tory Burch, Oprah loves her- i think that says enough right there lol. Tory is an amazing fashion designer who is well known for her Reva flats topped with her Double T Gold Logo named after her mom! Her brand was inspired by her parents who had amazing classic style by way of their clothes and home decor!

The 2015 Resort collection is inspired by the sun-bleached palette of painter Milton Avery (who also live in Connecticut-whoop whoop!); and features relaxed, structured and clean silhouettes. You will also notice the use of guipure lace and embroidery inspired by handkerchiefs owned by her mother. Super preppy with a side of sass! I love that her family inspires her designs!

Check out my favorite pieces from the collection!

Funny but all true. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE working with designer brands, amazing pieces straight off the runway, and people from different walks of life, but I have to admit..sometimes I can not deal! Lol

There are times when you get to work with some really amazing people who love your style, are open to trying something different and most importantly POLITE and RESPECTFUL.

Other times, I am left feeling unappreciated especially when most consumers almost look to you as a slave (I.e. bring me this, give me that, I need this, I’m in a rush, whats on sale, picking up clothes from the floor, and smelly feet lol but true)
I absolutely love my new role as a Visual Merchandiser as I get to use personal style and creativity to promote some pretty amazing pieces.

What’s your retail experience?

Designer Spotlight: Alexis Mabille

Heyyy!

Paris Fashion Week is well underway and from the looks of the street styles of attendees to the main events.. I am LOVING IT! This year, I’ve gotten the opportunity to find some designers I absolutely love other than everyone’s obvious top fashion houses, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada and so on. While pinning away on Pinterest (by the way I am crazy addicted to Pinterest, there is just way too many amazing things on there!) Anywho, I stumbled upon designer Alexis Mabille.

Alexis Mabille launched his house in 2005 with the idea of designing for men and women, choosing his signature of the “bowtie” which is really a universal detail adding sweet and chic for the lady and trend and infinite style to the fella. Alexis is distinctive for blending tradition with sex appeal and an energy that reflects the times.

In his second pre-collection you’ll find flattering high waists, beautiful daily dresses, and an amazing feministic takes on menswear. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE love his signature bows (OF COURSE, I LOVE BOWS!!), delivered on the blouses cardigans and a little somethin’, somethin’ on the booty pocket.

Check out some of my favorite looks from the 2014 Pre Fall Collection.

Crop tops are super chic this season. If your not into showing the belly like the lovely Kerry Washington, try pairing with a high waist skirt or trouser!

Maybe not something you would wear on the norm, but I LOVE the exaggerated matador look. I could see Singer/Cover Girl Janelle Monae rocking this for sure!
