Hey yall!

Day 10 of my hospital stay for my broken catheter and low blood count and I am Ret -Ta- Go! Lupus and Chronic Kidney Disease is really trying to kick my butt, but I won’t go down without and fight! Grateful for having enough energy to blog from the bed, have to look on the bright side right?! Any-who, I know Instagram can be obnoxious at times but I found some people that I really find to be inspiring, outgoing, persistent and super stylish.
Check out my favorite Instagram fashionistas

Jordan is my most favorite to follow because her situation helps me to remember that I can make it through my kidney failure & lupus even when I have rough times. She doesn’t allow her disability to steal her happiness or her amazing style and love for fashion and beauty.

One of the first people I found that I absolutely loved for their style! She is literally always on point!

Stylist & Blogger out of Orlando, Florida, I stumbled upon Melanie’s blog when I moved to Orlando. She is super spunky, fashion forward and inspires me to get focused on personal styling.

Helena is a fabulous blogger who never fails at bringing is class and style. She is truly a favorite and one who has inspired my desire to blog.

Emelina is not a blogger but is from my home town In Connecticut. She was someone I looked up to in school; Career driven, Super sweet, amazingly stylish, and not afraid to break the rules in fashion!

Kahlana is an Editor for InStyle. I love the was she steps out of the box with fashion.

Absolutely love his style! Lewis takes men’s fashion to another level and while he is super confident he is never arrogant and always sweet!

Malika has great style and is focused on her business! She motivates me to push forward with personal styling as well.

Fashion stylist, Consultant and Author, Ashleigh has amazing style and is great at reworking her pieces to look different.

CandeLisa is has a gorgeous sense of style and amazingly fashion forward.

Editor In Chief of the amazing blog @FashionBombDaily. She inspired my blog start up with her style and perseverance.

Fall 70s Trend featuring Tory Burch

Heyy yalll!

Summer is creepin on out and Fall is almost here! I love Fall, it’s my favorite season because you can always find the best clothes! I’m in Florida now so I don’t get the cool weather for very long but that still doesn’t stop me from covering my favorite pieces from Tory Burch!

The Tory Burch Fall Collection is very London, Mod and 70s inspired. Who doesn’t love a good high waisted wideleg, a fabulous chunky heel and amazing earth tone colors!

Check out some of my favorite pieces and how I put them together!

This Week in Chic!

Hey Yall!

Happy Monday! I know this is everyone’s dreaded day after the weekend but let’s keep it positive! Fashion always makes me happy and brightens my day so I must share my favorite looks of the week. I know I am a bit late but I just got approved to return to work from medical leave! (Holla/Clap it up for YA girl!) lol.
Check out my favorite looks!

Scarlet Johansson in an amazing one piece jump suit.

Jennifer Lopez looking spicy in Versace.

Keke Palmer in some sassy looks. I am usually not for high slits and mid drifts, but I think she looks amazing! I prefer her long hair to the short look.

Blake Lively in an awesome see through jumpsuit and I LOVE how she covered it without hiding the style.

How are you guys? I hope you all had an amazing weekend as I did! Spring is around the corner for some of you but for me in sunny Florida,  it’s been pretty sweet! (not to brag) lol I figured I share some spring inspiration to get you all prepared and excited. Check out some of my favorite celebrity looks of the week!

Latoya Luckett in a few beautiful white ensembles. The dress is a customer made pieces from Costume Designer & Fashion Stylist Anthony Williams.

Ciara is making a comeback and is looking amazing while doing so!

Beyoncé stepped out in Victoria Beckham

Jennifer Lopez rocked some pieces from her Kohls clothing line.

This Week in Chic

Hey yall!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. My weekend was filled with dialysis treatment, dealing with my Lupus flare up or joint and muscle pains, so definitely not super fun. I did however get to spend time with my family and finally found an AMAZING Jamaican restaurant in Orlando! Their oxtails were on point!
Anywho, I had to start the week off my sharing with you all my favorite celebrity looks from the weekend!

This look on Adrienne Bailon is my absolute  this week. It gives me sexy pin up girl with a major touch of class. I love the mix of patterns bringing it together with nude accents. This look is by designer Valentino

Who doesn’t love a good one piece jumper! Angela Simmons is always stylish and this one piece is amazing. One pieces are an easy on the go look and very easy to pack if you need to travel in style. The only annoying thing about the one piece is you are pretty much naked when you have to go to the restroom lol.

Janelle Monae looks great in this seasons trend of the cropped top and Aline Highwaist skirt. Horizontal stripes don’t look great on everyone but she looks amazing! I love how she always wear some combination of black and white with a pop of signature red!

My favorite celeb and style icon Tracee Ellis Ross, looked great at the Black Girls Rock event. This dress is very elegant, gives a little bit of sass with the split and looks like two dresses depending on which side you  are on. She is wearing AzariaLaMode

Style Guide | What to Wear to a Winter Wedding

Hey yall!

Since today is Friday, I had to take it back to one of my favorite moments before I started to feel really sick. I had the opportunity to attend one of my good friend’s wedding! She looked amazing, but I must say, I find it hard to shop for winter wedding events! You never want to wear white, though people boldly try it and you definitely don’t want to be cold in a thin dress. I found the perfect combo tho! Check out my look for a fabulous winter wedding!!
